Kristie Kim Design
I spend time creating motion graphics, animations, artwork, and graphic designs because I am a creator with experience in illustration, 2D animation, public relations, and graphic arts. I grew up in Seattle, Washington, then graduated honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies with a minor in Animation from North Carolina State University, and I take motion design courses at Art Center College of Design in California. I am the owner of Kristie Kim Design with certifications and partnerships related to entertainment arts marketing.
Outside of freelance work, I take watercolor and drawing commissions. I spend much time traveling and promoting my brand.
My first public exhibit was at the U.S. Capitol Cannon Pedestrian Tunnel from May 2010 to May 2011 after my tempera painting, "The Chase," won first place in the 2010 Congressional Art Show. I have learned about the production and public relations process through the publishing of my illustration work with public relations and advertising firms in Hollywood, CA. I have assisted in international design programs in Seoul, South Korea to learn about the production process.
